IXL Math practice

We have just started using IXL Math at our school. Would like to hear success stories from anyone who has used this program. I would also be interested in how you have incorporated this program into the middle school curriculum.

If you haven't discovered Delicious.com, you need to see this website. Everything you could possibly need for your classroom is there. All grade levels and all subjects have a wealth of information to use. This website is a much for educators.

Interactive Computer Quiz

If you are out sick or need a computer center in your classroom, I have found a good website that will generate a quiz. The website allows you to make an interactive math quiz: www.thatquiz.org. This would be a great tool to continue testing previously learned material. I would also like to know about some of the great websites and activities you have found.

Middle School Math Activities

I found a great math activity website: www.educationalrap.com/music. This website allows you to purchase or download songs and print the lyrics. There are about 10 different songs, and each song is recorded with several different versions for scaffolding. We are currently going over fractions in class; I pulled the "Fractions and Decimals" song and gave the lyrics to the kids. I think you will enjoy this site
